Judge Bork Files Slip and Fall Lawsuit

Judge Robert Bork, former Supreme Court nominee, has filed a personal injury lawsuit, alleging that he injured himself as a result of a slip and fall accident at the Yale Club last year. He seeks compensatory and punitive damages. This lawsuit is noteworthy because Judge Bork has written on many subjects, including the need for tort reform. The plaintiff's tort bar and personal injury lawsuits are often criticized and wrongfully so. In many cases, those being critical change their opinion when they are injured as a result of another's negligence.
