Fatal Car Accident on I-91

One person died in an accident that happened just before 5 a.m. today on I-91 northbound between exits 12 and 13 in North Haven. A second person was taken to an area hospital in serious condition. The highway was closed for several hours during the morning rush. Traffic was diverted off the highway at exit 12 and routed back on at exit 13. Police have not released further information at this time.
