East Hartford Car Accident Injures Police Officer

A car accident in East Hartford has injured a police officer. Police said Officer Larry Henrickson was en route to work when his car and another car crashed at Homestead Avenue and Sigourney Street on Monday night.
Emergency crews extricated Henrickson from his vehicle. The extent of the officer's injuries and injuries to the other driver are unknown at this time.
