  In Hartford this morning, a child and an adult are being treated at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center after the car they were riding in collided with a school bus.Information on the severity of the injuries in this car crash with a bus is not yet available. The bus driver also went to the hospital.

  In West Haven, Connecticut, police are trying to identify the driver of a car who struck and killed a woman near the intersection of Route 34 and Yale Avenue this morning. Investigators are also trying to determine the identity of the victim, who is approximately 40 years old. • Bus and Car Collide in North Stonington Accident

  The driver of a car involved in an accident with a commuter bus early this morning has been flown by helicopter to Hartford Hospital. The accident at the intersection of Route 2 and Route 201 was reported at 6:24 a.m. There were passengers on the bus. It is unknown if any of the bus passengers sustained injuries.

  Two of the three people killed in the crash of a small plane in Maryland on Wednesday were from Connecticut.The three people killed were members of the Mahopac Golf Club in New York and were headed to North Carolina for a golf outing. The NTSB is investigating the crash.

  A small plane crashed into a home near a southern Indiana airport Monday, killing both people aboard, authorities said. There were no immediate reports of injuries on the ground, though the impact left much of the plane lodged inside the house.
